Dry cleaning
Dry-clean with any standard solvents (i.e. stain removal with benzine is permitted)
Dry-clean with perchloroethylene
Dry-clean with HCS (hydrocarbon solvents), fluorocarbon (now banned) or benzine
Wet clean (professional cleaning that includes using water) - where there is one bar below the circle, dry in the tumbler to a residual moisture content of approx. 15%; where there are two bars below the circle, clean very gently and only loosen up in the tumbler before drying in the open air.
A solid circle with a cross through it means "cannot be wet cleaned".
